The Ryan Wells Foundation and The Sheraton Sand Key Resort are proud to announce the 8th Annual “Evening with the Chefs” on May 23, 2013. Event proceeds support the ProStart culinary high school programs and students of Dixie Hollins, Jacobson Culinary Academy in Tarpon Springs, Northeast and Osceola. The students work alongside several of Pinellas county’s finest chefs to deliver gourmet appetizers, entrees and desserts.
In addition to presenting the 2013 Ryan Wells Foundation Culinary Scholarships, we will also be having Live Entertainment, Silent and Live Auction featuring unique destinations, fine jewelry, artwork, exquisite dinner parties, and more!
With last year’s event awarding 11 scholarships, our total scholarships awarded since 2005 is over 70. We would like to achieve the same goal at this year’s event, along with contributing funds to the high school culinary programs once again. Between student scholarships and donations made to the programs, the total amount is closing in on a half million dollars! This is due to support from our patrons and sponsors which we are forever grateful for. Please join us as we continue to “Fulfill the Dreams” of these young, aspiring chefs.
