The Ryan Wells Foundation was started in 2005 to serve and honor a young man that was a leader among his peers. Ryan's strong character and principles were an example to all. He was an Eagle Scout, a Scuba Scout and co-captain of Tarpon High's golf team in Tarpon Springs, Florida. His dreams for college were to pursue a degree in the culinary and hospitality field. With the help of the foundation, others can fulfill theirs' and Ryan's dreams.

Congratulations to the Ryan Wells Foundation scholarship winners for 2014: Tiffany Camacho, Christina Hargreaves, Emily Harris, Guila de Lima, Madison Miller, Olivia Monical, Lavante Pope, Danielle Romagnuolo, Eric Thullen and Andrew Zubia.

"This program has opened so many doors for me in my four years of high school, including the opportunity to meet Mike and Carrie Wells, and work with the Ryan Wells Foundation. Through this foundation, I was one of the recipients of the 2012 scholarship.  This scholarship will definitely help me further my education at The Culinary Institute of America, which will then help me get closer to my dream job. The scholarship gives me a sense of motivation to keep up all my studies and get good grades. This scholarship also gives me a great sense of pride.  It is a true honor to receive this scholarship."
